Tee it up with Rory sweepstakes
For this project I was heavily involved in planning the look and strategy of the assets. I started by working with the head of consumer marketing to brainstorm photo ideas to showcase Rory’s friendly and easy-going personality. I created a few design concepts and art directed a photoshoot with Rory to capture various poses for the assets. For the digital and email banners I chose to have Rory on a green background to reference his Irish heritage and to help these stand out on websites that primarily showcase golf course imagery. For social media I wanted to use animation to grab attention. I created short animated GIFs that showed Rory miming “enter to win a trip with me.” They were simple but showed people how fun it would be to play golf with Rory. This project was on a very quick timeline but was very rewarding. The Tee it up with Rory Sweepstakes was very successful and had the most entries of any GolfNow sweepstakes to date.
