Happy haunting! This was a very fun side-project to brush up on my coding skills. The goal of this redesign was to elevate the web presence of this haunt review website to a professional level and the first step was to establish the tone and color palette. The old website was white and used a predominantly red accent. This didn’t fit the creepiness of the subject matter, so I opted for a darker color scheme, using the brand orange as an accent. I incorporated subtle touches of grunge textures throughout the site to help it feel like a traditional haunted house website, while still keeping it modern. Additionally I added several plugins to optimize the website and reworked the blog pages.
