Intelity Website Enhancements
Web
Project Description
When I started working for Intelity, my first task was to do an audit of their website. The company was happy with the current design, but simply wanted to spruce it up. While the website looked great on the front-end, the backend was a mess. I did a complete overhaul of the page structure, fixing responsive layout bugs and optimizing images for web browsing. I further optimized the site by installing a caching plugin and adding search-friendly keywords and meta descriptions to each page. Visually I also wanted to enhance the user experience by adding interactive transitions between sections and incorporating more iconography throughout the site, particularly on the product pages. I re-categorized the blog posts and press releases to make it easier for users to find specific content. I also completely redesigned the blog post layouts, incorporating more imagery and interactive elements, such as videos. Finally, I incorporated more calls-to-action throughout the site to drive people to read the blog and download marketing content. This proved to be an effective way to drive user engagement on the site.
By the end of my time with Intelity, the average monthly organic search traffic had increased 215%.
